There are not many 4-star hotels in the city center. The Fazenda União, i.e., a mansion converted into a guesthouse, is a relaxing place for leisure activities but doesn't have all the facilities. Fazenda união is a farmhouse used for holding events. Fazenda união, as compared to Kings Boutique Hotel, is far from the city center.


So not a very wise choice if you are fond of walking. From a price point of view, Kings Boutique Hotel offers the best room at a reasonable price. You can book a couple's room at as low as $250/night. However, at places like Fazenda união, the prices are comparatively high, and you won't find a room like this or cost there.

Renting a car is the most ideal in terms of time and money, but only if it's your car and not an Uber otherwise, it'll cost a fortune. Out of all these options, the most recommended and preferred by tourists is the train, it costs around $70.


Although longer than by car, if you stop at Valença, then it won't be tiring. It takes around 2 hours to reach Valenca where you can either spend a night or take a taxi to Rio das Flores making the trip less tiring and expensive.
